How can I translate my theme?

Translating our themes is easy. All our themes have pot files included in the languages directory. You can use an application like Poedit to create a translated file. You can then generate your own translation file for use in WordPress.

If you don’t want to go through all that there is a great plugin called WPML which will allow you to translate your theme from within WordPress.

I am unable to install my theme

Most theme installation issues are due to the incorrect file being installed. Themeforest allows you to download a complete theme package and the “installable files” only. You’ll need to use the installable files only. The installable files are actually also inside the complete package.

The installable files is always named after the theme, so it should be something like “” or “”. This is the file you’ll need to install by going to the appearance section in WordPress.

I'm getting "Page Not Found" errors on some of my pages

This is usually a permalinks issue. Some of our newer themes take care of this automatically but for some you’ll need to do the following to resolve this issue. Go to settings->permalinks in WordPress, select any option other than default and save the page. This should put everything back in its place.

Demo content import issues

There are two issues which usually arise with demo content. In some cases you might get some errors, even if the demo content upload is successful. This is normal, it just means that you do not have the same ID for posts and other items as we do. The import works just fine in this case, you may be missing some categories or something similar, that’s all.

In some cases you may get complete import failures, usually due to the allowed upload limit. This is a server issue and can be resolved by your host, or by yourself. If you want to resolve it yourself you’ll need to create a file in the wp-admin directory of your WordPress installation. The file should be named “.htaccess” and it should have the following content:

Do you do any customization/custom work?

Sorry but we don’t do any custom work at all. To be honest we do not like working for anyone, but the main reason is that we like to focus on improving our existing themes, making new themes and providing high quality support. These take away most of our time and we would be unable to give our best to customisation work.

How can I set up my slider?

The large sliders in our themes use Layer Slider. This is included with the purchase of most of our themes. The easiest way to set up these sliders is to import the default set. There is an option to do this in the top of the admin when you go to the main Layer Slider page.

For the full-width sliders we started out with the third test slider, this should be a full-width one. Modify images and text and take a look at the timing and animation to learn how the system works. It takes some time and practice to master, but it’s well worth the time!
